Bangkok for eighteen hours. Taipei for one night. Tokyo with just enough time for ramen, Donki, and a photo of a vending machine you thought was cute. Singapore in uniform, perfect lipstick, feet quietly dying inside your shoes.

You collect cities in fragments: airport carpets, hotel mirrors, breakfast buffets, convenience stores, the smell of jet fuel after rain.
People think this sounds glamorous. Sometimes it is. Sometimes you are above the clouds at sunrise and the whole world looks soft and impossible, and you feel lucky in a way that makes your chest hurt. Sometimes you and the crew are laughing in a hotel room at midnight, eating cup noodles and wearing sheet masks, and you think: okay, this is a good life.
But sometimes you wake up in a layover hotel and forget which country you are in. Sometimes you return to Hong Kong when everyone else is starting work, and the city feels like it continued without you. Friends make plans in group chats while you are boarding. Birthdays happen when you are airborne. Your mother sends "你今日返唔返屋企食飯" and you have to reply "唔得呀, 飛緊."
You are the person who brings joy into the cabin, the one who tells people life should be enjoyed, and yet your own life often feels chopped into time zones and roster blocks. You want freedom, but you also want somewhere to come back to. You want fun, but you are tired of being treated as only fun.
That is the contradiction you carry with lip gloss, compression socks, and a smile.
